Hi, I'm glad you're here! My name is Emily.
I'm a certified Health & Wellness coach and passionate about guiding women as they begin their own journey towards health.
My own wellness journey began when I was 22 and diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It was a shock to receive the diagnosis, but also relieving to have an explanation as to why my body felt out of balance. My menstrual cycles were irregular, my face would break out, my digestion was inconsistent, and I sweat...a lot. Unfortunately my doctor did not provide much guidance and simply put me on birth control to “solve” the problem.
Fast forward a few years, I got pregnant easily with my son but wasn’t having much luck getting pregnant a second time. I knew I needed to make some diet and lifestyle changes and I finally felt ready. It was during this time I had a realization:
I don’t have to do this, I get to do this.
I adopted simple diet and lifestyle changes that led to weight loss, clear skin, better sleep, consistent digestion, and regular cycles. I’ve been in your shoes and am happy tell you that positive change is absolutely within your reach.
I also find personal connection helps drive deep transformation, which is why I created the Mending Together Facebook group. It is powerful to meet other women who are facing similar barriers. Together we hold each other accountable as we make lasting changes. We'd love to have you if you haven't joined already!
